After studying business psychology at the University of Heidelberg and RWTH Aachen University, my path led me to Accenture in 1999. Initially, my focus was on change management, but the topic of digitization quickly captured my heart. In my 11 years at Accenture, I built up my knowledge of digitization, process management, project management and consulting. I was able to advise and support my clients in many large projects. At the same time, I learned what makes good consulting and how a successful consulting company works. During my time at T-Systems from 2010 to 2017, I was responsible for various customer segments and gained a lot of experience in large contract negotiations and crisis management.

In order to expand my experience and knowledge with a holistic view of business processes and corporate management, I moved to smaller consulting companies in 2017. In various positions as Director Consulting, COO and authorized signatory, I was able to gain a deep insight into the management of a company and personnel management. In particular, I learned how a start-up works and what the success factors are for growth on the way to becoming a medium-sized company. At the same time, I advised and supported my customers in numerous projects of my own and passed on my experience.

My most important findings are:

• Understanding the individual situation and the specific context of a project is essential for its success.

• The better the overall understanding of the various influencing factors and their interaction at the start of a project, the higher the probability of achieving the goal.

• Drawing on proven methods and recipes for success increases efficiency - but these need to be adapted in order to find a customized and feasible solution.

These points sound simple! However, my experience shows that they are too often not considered. This is where my guiding principle comes from:
